Havent been on the site as much as the good old days (since sold the 500) - was just shocked to see this price. This for real?

I had my eye on this too. There is always a reason for a low price. Surely you could take that price to a dealer instead of private if it's in good condition.

Hello Ed I sense you still have a hankering for a Cerbie! It will never go until you get one you know

I saw that and thought "bloody hell".

I'm guessing it's because it's a speed 6 and difficult to shift?

Groan! I REALLY hope there's something terminally wrong with it. Car plus a new engine fitted would be less than £22k.
The guy must be desperate to sell and Moleskins not telling us aything plus PHer's constantly trashing the Speed 6 has just cost me £15k - I thought I had got a good deal last May - 7k miles plus many extras for £29k, when Peninsula had a 13k miles Speed 6 on for £33k!!!

If it's not a CAT C/D then I'd be very surprised (and if it isn't, that's really, really cheap).

Has anyone called him to ask why the price?

As has been said, even if it's got chocolate fingers, it'd make a nice 4.0RR Cerb for <20k if you got the work done at Power...

Unfortunately S6 powered Cerbies got a bad rep because of the early cars. Looks like this one's been tarred with the same brush which is unfortunate given that this is a 2001 car.

Bargain for someone probably.

8,400 miles on a 2001 S6 - if it's not had an engine rebuild yet, it's time to book it a slot!

Very, very tempted to argue him down by £1k for cash on the spot, have the top end sorted, and sell it with a factory warranty and clean bill of health (assuming that's all that's wrong with it).

I guess that it's this one www.pistonheads.com/sales/detail.asp?i=29989&s=6 nice colour.
How does that work out on depreciation? £1K per month?
