Watch out for pinking, bad news that...I get that if I dont run on super unleaded. Check yiur timing, im running 8 degrees (was 6) and dont het any pinking, but might need ti tweak in summer smile

You can do the timing on the go..Basically take the correct size spanner with you..Put it in 3rd earlier than normal and give it a bit of heavy throttle..If you hear it pinking then pull over and advance/Retard a tiny amount..Tighten the bolt and repeat...It might take you a few stop and go's but you will find the best position for it...(A bit of info passed on from an old school mech)...Ziga

This is the light i have, bought it a few years back and its been a great thing to have in the garage.

As Zig says, its a try and play but the nice thing with using a light at the first point is you know where you are starting and also once its right you can see what it is. You might find that you need to make a small difference in timing between summer and winter. if you get this and want help just give me message.

Enjoy! smile
