Front end screams at whoever it comes up behind to move over and get out of the way, but I can't decide whether it looks better than a 'normal' XF. Wheels look awful as does the spoiler on the back. Bet it sounds proper lush though.

Another vote against the wheels, they look tragic. Are 20" Vortex wheels an option? I reckon a stratus grey XFR-S with dark grey Vortex wheels would look amazing, it would even carry off the big spoiler...

Don't like - sorry! Way too much black and rims/wing look naff. (No doubt it'll drive a lot better than it looks, mind).

All the oily bits in a standard body, smart wheels, subtle colour, PL/Portfolio spec (like an Uber SV8), then yes please.

Would you rather they stuck with the "old man" image and faded into obscurity? I for one have to say I like this rejuvenated Jaguar (not just this car but the range and company in general). To compete with the German brands etc. they had to have modern designs, relevant to the sort of people that buy cars of these sorts.

"Back in the day" people with this sort of money to spend on cars were probably much older than they are now so I just see this as Jaguar keeping in touch with their market. I much prefer the look of this to most of the German machinery in the same segment.

And another, of the three wheel options on the configurator that is the worst combo, either of these to my eyes looks better

No reason why any wheels can't be refinished in a matt / satin grey finish.

I am doing this to my demo when it arrives in march.

Agree, hate those alloys! Discrete spoiler for me too and not a fan of the carbon insert seats on the XF.
