OK Guys...need to make a quick decision!

I have taken the wood off the dash as i dont like it. Sorry chaps, its just not my thing.

So (and for anyone still reading and havent clicked away from this post!) i am chosing between to options:

1-Painting the dash pieces body colour
2-Having a steel panel panel with a turned effect on it

The door pieces and dash are all body colour already and i might leave like that regardless of what option i go for..

need to choose today really..

Between the two I'd go for body colour. I presume it's also the cheaper route?

Looks the same style dash as mine. To remove the lower switches do you have to remove the front plate or do the switches fit over the plate?

Body colour would still get my vote.....

Cheers Guys...made the decision, going body colour again!

i had it like this years back (when i first had the car) and really liked it. i painted it though so wasnt the best job, will be good this time as its being done by the body shop.

Very excited!

This is an old pic...must be 7 years ago...

The veneer looks stunning.

Matt- where did you get the heater sticker from? Are these still available?

Strange init!
My dash is painted body colour - red.
I would love to go back to wood veneer.
So if you are selling your wood, it's any good and the same style as mine....

I managed to take the original one off of the original dash and refitted it (small trim) but i am about to order one of these for the new dash...

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/TVR-WEDGE-HEATER-DECAL-S...

I got the veneers from Hotty. they were good (i cracked it slightly getting it off unfortunatly) but if anyone wants it, its yours for the price of the postage. I havent chucked it as i tend to keep some interesting things hanging in the mancave! its different to the 350 though as above...

Hi Matt...That looks pretty good..Even though I'm a Burr-walnut man..It looks very refreshing...Like Blueberry & vodka ice-cream lick

Simon..I totally agree..Im not a fan of SS dashes or carbon..The veneer is going to look stunning and will really set off the black..Like a Dark chocolate & liquorice liqueur ..I think I'm actually hungry..Off to the kitchen me thinks....Ziga

I originally fitted the stainless steel dash to the black 400SE simply because the car was black, and I thought the stainless steel dash would stand out in contrast to the black body and look good. Not to everyone's taste of course. However, I must admit the wood effect Simon is preparing to fit does look good. These cars were made with the wood effect dash and originality is always a good thing. Nice one Simon. If you make it to the BBWF, I want to be able to look at your 400SE, inside or outside, and be able to comb my hair in the reflection. All the best.

I painted mine to match the leather first, which I still like, but I've recently wraped it in carbon gold

Ziga - Thanks - I am so pleased the way the dash turned out cant wait to get it all in - Having the seats recolonised in 10 days by that time we should almost be ready for the paint shop!

Hi Tony - You know originality is my thing!! - cant wait to get the car back together - I cannot believe how good the chassis on the car is - it has been up on the ramp for a week now and with the wheels off we have been able to get to more and more and its really in good condition - I am doing everything possible to ensure I'm at the BBWF - and I promise you will be able to comb your hair everywhere you look - I have taken a great car and hopefully will have made it greater!!
