Unlimited European cover - insurance.
Discussion
Hi All,
I live in Italy and would like to purchase a Caterham in the UK and keep on UK plates. I am looking for an insurance company that would cover unlimited time spent out of the UK - has anyone done this? I have tried Stuart Collins but unfortunately they won't insure a caterham.
I can't go through the ball ache of registering in Italy, it's a nightmare!
Any advice would be welcomed.
Thanks,
Henry

The place has its upsides but running a car here is a pain in the culo! Stuart Collins will insure an exige S but i want to go down the caterham route once again. If there are no options, Lotus is the answer.
I think insurers have been forced to close this as an option since the UK Gov't introduced a number of measures to make it illegal for a UK citizen to drive a car with foreign plates on UK roads.
Presumably the latter was to prevent the dodging of speeding/parking fines in French registered s
tboxes.
