What tyres are we using

Having just bought my first chimaera supercharged 4 ltr looking for some new tyres as the fronts are a bit low
Now what are u guys using only for road use and not a daily driver I was looking at the toyo proxes

Toyos every time if you can still get them

I've just put on a set of four Bridgestone Potenza RE002 from mytyres.com correct size and speed rating, I'm no expert but it drives better than the ones that were on ( Bridgestone S03's )

If it's fronts you are after I have some bargain uniroyal rain sports 3’s in the right size for a Chim (205/55 15). These are brand new and never been on the car. (see the classifieds - tyres section).

It's virtually impossible to get hold of these tyres at the moment as they are on a 5 week backlog.

If you drive solely on roads, I think these are better than Toyo T1R's as the wet grip is amazing (as it should be as the Toyo is a very old design now).

If you are a track day driver, you shouldn't really be looking at T1R's either, try the R1R's instead.

(PS - if you are interested in my RS3’s, be quick as they will be going back to Germany if not sold this weekend).

I've just fitted Toyo T1R all round, car is on 17" wheels they took a bit of tracking down eventually got rears from openeo and the fronts from Halfruads the only cost £10 more fitted than anywhere else just delivered pity they didn't have the rears in stock
