can anyone supply a part number for the 3lt Essex oil filter to fit on a Taimar?

the one I bought is too big in diameter, it fouls on the top of the engine mount stud, I`ve cut a bit off of the stud but think there must be a slightly smaller diameter filter used on these cars.

Thread is 3/4", same as most Fords (and many others)so a little filter from a 4 cylinder engine might well do?

These are probably references which match the Halfords ones somewhere - don't know, but anyway....

Don't know for sure if it's the same thread as the Cologne V6 , probably is, as the larger filter was for many Fords, and a smaller one was specified for XR4x4 and some others, which I use for my Wedge.

Large = C102, Z89A (Many, Fords and others)
Small = C107, Z71 (Renault, BMW, XR4x4) It's both smaller dia and slightly shorter than C102
