that one was bought by somebody on here a couple of days ago unfortunately, there really aren't many for sale at the moment but as you say I am not rushing in, quite happy to wait for the right car - that one in the link I posted is sounding good to me though as it's had all the big jobs done and the money already spent on it.this one,

Is that the cooper green one? If so I have to say I like the look of that one, its an hc as well, although I don't know for sure what difference that makes? Nice Set of willwoods on it though!sapper said:

that's the one, nice looking and sensible upgrades, services taxed and warranty, defiantly worth a look. Brakes and shocks are a grand well spent, [quote=sapper].....if it was me id look for a face lift model at the price. /quote]
Can i ask why a facelift model is important - surely with even the newest ones are over 11 year old, so mechanical and chassis condition should rule and a later car doesn't mean these are any better - in fact often worse for chassis?
If its for aesthetic reasons than its very much subjective whether the later cars are an improvement over the earlier models. Just interested in this comment really as to a new buyer this could be misleading as if there is something superior to a later model, most buyers won't be able to distinguish them visually? Price is normally based on condition & mileage than year of age at this stage they are all getting-on and will vary considerably.

As I prefer the facelift for the subtle differences they have.
