Formula Red - Paint code R2574

I 'might' be getting some paintwork done on my Formula Red car, paint code R2574.

I think this is a 2 pack paint, is 2 pack still used or will a substitute be available with a clearcoat?

Is clearcoat or 2k better?

Finally, there are LOADS of Formula Red paints by various manufacturers. Does anybody know which paint manufacturer/code TVR used?

Was painted in ici from factory. I would go base and clear route. Paint still available in ici also better match if you go base and clear route as your painter should blend it out

Formula Red is a TVR colour only with no cross reference to any manufacturer and the R in your code means it was painted in RM paint.
