I saw this on another forum for M5s and thought it would make interesting subject , you know when you own a M6/m5 when you find any excuse to go and fetch something from the shops ,
Go and find a underpass or tunnel ,
pull up at the lights and see others just Stareing at your car .
audi and mercedes drivers just refuse eye contact incase its taken as a challenge away from the lights .
the petrol flap gets opened as often as the Drivers Door .
you try your hardest to drive away quietly in the mornings in case the neighbours start complaining to the wife. And then its days are numbered . (right!!!!!!) i here you say .
You fully understand that everytime you drive it on your own you run the risk of being arrested .As the car says go on faster faster !!!!
Any others as there must be loads .

......when you pick up your first four-figure invoice for replacing the pads & discs on both axles.....(ask me how I know....)

(I don't begrudge it as it's a truly awesome machine.)

You drive around with a permanently guilty face because of how fast you *might* have been going a minute ago....

- When you set the GPS just to get the location of the speed cameras even though you know the way
- When you love blitzing the car next to you creeping forward at the lights
- When you can find any excuse to drop it into 2nd
- When you think 20mpg is a fuel efficient car

When your original expected time of arrival provided by your GPS proves extremely pessimistic.

When you constantly on a monthly basis tell your other half " your right love , I'm going to sell it " and then I even convince myself I'm going to sell it , I may even then browse classifieds and pick the hummer h2 or 2 door cossie as my replacement , this has been ongoing for 2 years

When your local BMW dealership smiles when its due for a service . OUCH ! Even the screen wash has a M stripe on the Bottle LOl . You Know people who own a M6 as they have permanent smile on there face . they are expensive mistresses but worth every penny .
