Sagaris exhaust back box

Hi,
All the time I've owned my Sag I've never really liked the exhaust sound. Other speed6 cars sound so much better.
It's currently de-catted and I don't want to replace the whole exhaust as I've also got different end cans which I want to keep so that leaves the back box.
I seem to remember someone on here experimented with modifying the back box. Although I can find reference to this I can't find what was done. Does anyone remember or can point me to the posts ?
I tried search engines without much success.
