New GTR owner

I just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I've not been particularly into car related things untiil recently. But, getting into my 'middle years' I thought now or never and, after a wee bit of research, bought a 2010 Nissan GTR - my life has been transformed and I am becoming an obsessive petrolhead!

Love the car and was wondering if there are other members and owners on here in the Aberdeen area? A run sometime or a meet would be great!

There doesn't seem to be many GTR owners or much chat on here but if you have a look at the GTROC forum (if you've not already) there are many owners from scotland and lots of meets/events organised on there and all the info and answers to any questions you might have.

Hi Jim,

I'm down beside Arbroath/Montrose area so not too far away from you... As the guys above have mentioned, GTROC forum is the place to be for all things GTR. That recommendation comes with a serious health warning to your wallet though - it will be almost impossible for you to to refrain from modifying your car (if its not already that is!)!

I've not managed to attend any meets or anything yet but will get round to it at some point...

The car is, as far as I'm aware, totally standard. For the time being it is more than fast enough!

I don't think I'm quite ready for a track day yet but I may pop down (boss permitting) to say hi!

No time like the present! And, after some research, they appear to be one of the easier supercars to control!
