Afternoon all.

As some of you will know, I was planning on doing a Cosworth 24v v6 swap into my 280i.. Unfortunately, the project has ceased due to unforseen costs with the cosworth engine rebuild. After a discussion with the guys at the garage, I realised I didnt want to throw money into a project that could potentially take another few years to complete.

Anyway.. I'm not too dissapointed as I have ended up buying this 350i ( a little bit of an impulse buy ) and venturing into the world of V8's.

I picked it up last weekend and so far really pleased with my purchase. biggrin
How long till the BBWF... driving

Cheers.
Dom

Looks superb, hope you enjoy it. Only got mine a few weeks ago and already totally smitten. Had my first "proper" drive in it this afternoon, roof down, dry weather, no kids to tell the wife the actual road speed down the lanes. Brilliant.

Hi Mate...You made the right decision...I like the colour and the interior..Are you keeping them wheels or going to stick the others back on?...Well done..May all your miles be smiles...Ziga

Gold like Delilahs were...

Or Black...Colour coded with diamond cut and polished rims...But if you are doing them yourself then maybe use a alloy silver colour, I remember Rooodboy done his wheels and they looked puka....Ziga

Lovely looking Wedge

Just needs a spoiler on the boot to finish it!!!! IMHO (gets hard hat on ready for replies)

I still think silver wheels look best - and look the lattice ones

All the best

Cheers Guys..

The yellow wheels I have are the lattice style.. will be stripping these back and putting them on - I also prefer them to the ones one there at the moment.

Chris. Yeah, been a long time !! im thinking about 6 years give or take... When I test drove this one couple of weeks back, couldn't help but grin and remember driving the 280i wink

Paul, a Red Wedge BBWF Convoy.. liking the sounds of that. Are you attending the next Queens Square Meet?
