Hi guys

I would like to ask if you think that i will have any problem if i extend the fuse/Relay box wires by lets say 1m. I was thinking of cutting and soldering all the wire in order to take it in the boot. Any Objections and why?????

They are long enough to go behind the seat .

You'd need to stagger all the soldered joints, personally I'd run new wires in or make an extension on a multi connector block.

So you have no objection to carefully solder all the wires and extend them. you dont think that the connection will increase the resistance and have any sort of voltage drop that can affect the operation ofthe relays or anything else???

if its soldered correctly then there should be no voltage drop, if the soldering is weak or you get dry joints, then it may effect the wiring, but the length will have no effect what so ever.
Where are you thinking of putting the fuse box in the boot? it will ideally have to be on the drivers side to avoid spilling petrol over it, and you will have to bear in mind getting the roof in and out without damaging, knocking or disturbing the fuse box unless you are thinking on top of the fuel tank, the only issue with this is relays switching on and off next to the fuel tank that may be "breathing" may be a little dodgey, Behind the passenger seat is probably the best option and you don't have to extend the wiring. good luck with whatever you decide
