hi all, i've been gone a long time and can't remember the last time i posted here.
i'm not going to be able to complete my '74 2500M project that i started years ago and i've reluctantly decided i should sell it on to someone that can. of course it's in pieces. the question is should sell all as is or part it out. i've been out of touch with the tvr scene for some time now but my memory is that old tvrs aren't worth a heck of a lot but the individual parts are. i could use some advice. thanks.

thanks for the input. i have spoken with hayes and he offered some advice as well. i'm really conflicted about parting with this car. it was the first new car i ever owned, my only car for several years and my daily driver for nearly 20 years. it has followed me everywhere i've moved, sometimes in pieces. it's been hard to admit that it's unlikely that ,at this point in my life, it will ever go back together again. if i do decided to advertise it are there any recommendations as to where? the ads here seem mostly aimed at the UK.
thanks, frank

Hemmings, for one.

Good luck, and I am sorry for your loss.

Have you considered paying others to refurbish it for you?

Best,
B.

Where are you located now? Distance is not a problem for me, as I currently have a car from NY in the shop.

I was once in the position where the only option appeared to be to sell IROC car 10, one of the uncrushables, also two E12 M535is.
Keep your car, you will regret it if you feel defeated and sell. You are in good company here, be supported and fix it!

If you can afford it, get it built by others. If not sell complete for someone to re-build.

Please don't "part it out" or "break it" as we would say over here.

thanks for the thoughts and input guys. it's looks like the car is going to someone that swears that he'll build it and keep it. i've had this car for almost 40 years and i'm sad to see it go but it looks like it'll have a good home.
thanks again.
