How come my alarm still operates when the battery is dead flat- So flat the Ignition lights would not come on!! Spoooky ah!

The alarm siren is mostly composed of a rechargeable battery.
When these go faulty there is usually a high pitched screech.

I had it on Dave, but the pesky circuit breaker the conditioner plugged into must have tripped!!, sometime over the last 2 weeks ("Not been in the garage for a couple of weeks ") To COLD & WET.
Charged the battery for 3Hrs. all tickety boo now!!

Pleased to hear its sorted Phil, I plug my conditioner into the ciggie lighter and have noticed that I have to fiddle with the plug to make sure the connection is a good one. I see the green light flicker on and off keep twisting the plug till I get the good contact. Maybe I need a new socket, but I mention this so other Tivvers are aware if they use the same type of system.
