Alarm Condundrum - Not Locking Door (Meta)

Can anyone help with a Meta (M99T) alarm issue - system seems to set & activate incl lights flashing as normal on my 96 Chim but it won't lock the doors. All door buttons work as normalin sill etc.

I'm hoping its a simple one someone can point out perhaps a fuse or relay or a reset?

Anyone replaced Carl Baker on the forums - a missed good guy?

Could it be that one of the door micro-switches is not being fully depressed when the door is closed?

yeah has the spacer dropped off?

If you mean by microswitches the small door light button on the sill upon which teh door closes - then yes both work /depressed okay

A bit reluctant to visit alarm engineer at this stage as they will want to replace it all most likely which i don't think is necessary, clearly only part of the alarm is at fault.

Any other suggestions or engineers in Midlands/ Staff/ Shrops?

Have you tried 12v direct to the door solenoids to prove they are actually working ?

Yes, that was what I meant. It's a shame that wasn't the cause of the problem.

First class service for me.
Try taking the battery leads off to hopefully reset the META. Then reconnect the battery.
