I found this screen in an old shed at my new house. If anyone knows what it is and wants it, it's free to pick up from Scottish Borders/Lothian area. It's 40inches wide, 16 inches high, flat, has a curve top and bottom about 1 3/4 inches high in the middle. It seems to be plain unlaminated glass about 1/4 inch thick.

No, this one is not laminated and is flat. I think it's a front screen off something older, a bit like an MG TC but curved top and bottom and is a bit higher than an MG.

There is no way on earth you can identify a piece of glass by pics, measurements will only narrow it down a bit as there is a lot more to it than that - curve, radiuses etc. Has it no identifying markings on it?
If it's not laminated then it's more likely to be a rear screen.
Your favourite would be contacting the previous owner of the house, they might know.

Or pre-'70s, of course.
