So I finally lost the gamble of driving on Surrey's roads.

A 'small' 3 foot long by half foot deep pothole caused the below to my e39 530.

Any suggestions for a body shop near Guildford that could repair this?

eek That's quite some pothole! Wheel / tyre survived?!

A mate used to work for Bells in Guildford (near Ladymead) but don't know if they're around or not still tbh I'm afraid! Obviously there's always BMW themselves too.

Other than that I tend to recommend Lemass in Chalfont St Peter or SL Restoration in Gatwick - neither of which are quite as close as you probably want.

Pothole was about 3 feet long and 8 inches deep, filled with water so looked like a puddle, the drop into it was vertical hence the sill got crunched on entry, even though I was going slowly.

Bells - I used them years ago when I had a GTR, one of the guys there had one as well I think. I see if they are still around.

thanks

Grove Heath Road between Ripley & Horsley

This particular pothole is about 150m further towards Horsley than the green arrow

I've used Shalford Coachworks a couple of times for similar repairs, and they have done a decent job for a fair price. It was on the family wagon, so I wasn't looking for top dollar results.
