Wiper blades

Boring thread alert!

I've got a 4.3 V8 Vantage and it has the old style wiper blades and I'd like to fit the Bosch style, whereby it's a flexible plastic back, if you know what I mean.

Was wondering if anyone else has done this, what blades will fit etc. I know the latest Vantages have them fitted but they've got new wiper arms I believe.

I have fitted the beam wipers to my DB9, it is just a case removing the current version and replace and ajust wipe area.A couple of guys have done it to their Vantages.

So you just changed the wiper blades on your existing arms or fitted new arms?

If just the blades, that's great!

I fitted arms and blades, personally I do not like the older arms and blades.
If you want only the blades then do a search as there was a number options.I cannot find the reference on the forum.

Same, I was hoping a new style blade was available for the old style arm. I'll have a nosey.

From memeory, there was a thread on it, whre some people tried it and found the older style arms didn't put enough pressure on the flat blades.

Yes, the new "aero" style blades don't work 100% perfectly on the old arms on the V8V. Too much curve on the glass and not enough pressure from the arms.

Thanks for the replies guys, I found the old thread and heard a few people complain that the wipers wouldn't clear the full screen. I've opted for the Bosch normal wipers with the spoiler, should neaten the car up slightly and I should get a better wipe of the screen - I was driving back from the metrocentre in the rain last night and my wipers were just smearing the water all over the place.

Bought my Retrofit aerotwins Ref: Bosch 24sp" 21SP" and they work fine, 24.00 inc vat @ delivery

No spoilers, but never had a problem with these, had them fitted to my RS4 as well.
