As title.
Always sugar free and along side that I drink 2 litres of water a day minimum.

So is it that bad for me?

Just one "small" bottle won't make a difference. I'd read up on sweeteners, though.

There is some evidence that consuming artificial sweeteners may make you hungrier. Other than that, I wouldn't give it another thought.

You take one natural constituent out and had a shed load of synthetic ones to replace the original.....Poison!? Better off drinking normal!
Same is being claimed for margarine.

Yeah, I was going to post, some people take a vitamin tablet every day, whilst the OPer is knocking back a dose of aspartame every day. biggrin

So am I. Weening myself off it now.

As with all things it's not going to harm you in moderation (probably).

Hm. I'd struggle to resist, too. Can you ask them to stock mineral water, too?

I must admit, I gave up fizzy pop a long time ago. The sweetners in "those healthy no calorie" diet drinks are a chemical s41t storm. Obviously, on a weekend when Vodka is involved, this statememnt is no longer valid biggrin

I have a fairly healthy diet for the most part, fresh veg, bit of fruit and all my meat is slow cooked or done in coconut oil although sugar is my biggest weakness.

I have a collegue who has two cans of full fat coke and a chocolate bar for breakfast and a bottle of Lucazade with his vegetarian lunch. He'll end up in hospital if he doesn't change his lifestyle soon. Saying that, moeration is the key. I wouldn't worry too much about one bottle a day although I'd maybe think about having it occasionally instead of daily.

I used to work with someone whose only source of fluids was FF Pepsi. His office bin was full of empty cans.

Strangely, he had a really good physique, cannonball shoulders, huge triceps, decent chest, 6 pack abs.

I lied. He was bordering on obese.

That would be moderate for my mate and colleague. I've witnessed him consuming 4-5 half litre bottles of FF Coke/fanta/sprite a day, plus numerous chocolate bars, several deserts plus crisps and other junk. His expense receipts read as though they're a single handed attempt to keep McDonalds and Burger King in business. That's when he's not getting chicken madras from his local takeaway.

Last Year I was drinking at least one can of FF Coke a day at work. I stopped 6 months ago and just drink water now and its made a massive difference to me. I'm not up and down throughout the day and seem to have more energy so I think it does make a difference over time. I still have a can now and again and it doesn't seem to have much effect though.

Even the full fat (read tasty) stuff isn't actually that high in cals if drunk in moderation. Tbf the peeps that are overweight probably drink buckets of the stuff wink

I work with a chap who drinks at least a slab of fat coke a week. He's not fat but I suspect his blood sugar is scary.

This mornings breakfast, a cream filled doughnut coated in sugar and an Iron Bru eek
