Dear All,
I'm off to Le Mans - first time ever - staying at decent campsite 5 mins from circuit.

Very interested if anyone got 5-10 bullet point top tips?

i.e. Is it worth getting a Grandstand set?

Many thanks in advance.

Hi Paul,

I had grandstand seats at the last corner before the main start/finish straight a couple of years ago, It was fantastic for the start and near the end but only for an hour or so, the rest of the time we spent up at the Porsche curves I think its called, then the Indianapolis straight/curves and then Arnage corner, Arnage was great because of the pubs close by in that town and there was always a good crowd, many crashes and bumps as cars fight to pass before the 90 degree bend. Especially during the night when brakes are glowing etc Nothing beats watching the corvettes mash up the straights like thunder machines.

Take a fold up camping chair and a beer/wine cooler
Don't be designated driver
Take ear plugs for when you want to sleep, the cars can be heard many miles away at campsites.
Hopefully this will give you a kick up the arse to go and get building your race car again!

Enjoy!
