Did it go up Row Down? (Brutal 1km (ish)) climb that's near shoreham (on the end of pilgrims way?)
I was out with a couple of mates, and we rode up there to be greeted by a photographer have way up...

Most of the route is the same as the Hever half ironman but in reverse, if anyone's done it.

Did most of it today, much easier than yesterday with the southerly wind.

I think it was the middle section from penshurst to Ashdown forest into that head wind that did me. Trained on most of the hills but still a challenge for this early in the season.

Did an extended version of the route today! And, yip - row dow ruined me as I was 120 clicks in by that point! Lovely route though - will defo do it again in the summer with some mates rather than solo like today..

It's just off Pilgrims Way in Otford, isn't a particularly bad one as it's very short and there are much worse close by!

It ramps to about 20% in places but is pretty short - you are correct, there are definitely much worse locally!!!
