420se for sale
Discussion
Alright gents.
Unfortunately it looks like I have got to sell the beast (or creature, as she is commonly known)!!
Will be sad to see her go and hoping she will go to a good home so prefer to get advice from you guys on here. She is quite well known on here.
Hope someone can still bring her down to the BBWF this year ;-)
Just wondering how much anyone thinks she is worth as I know there aren't many for sale at the minute and she is a rare one. One of 6 built. Bit more difficult than normal.

It is a hard one to price as so few were made. If I asked myself what I would pay (if I had the money!), my first 'gut instinct' would be £8 - 10k, depending on the overall condition. Bit more than a 'good' 390SE, but short of what, say, a reasonable 450SE would fetch.
Just my opinion, but like belly buttons - everyone has got one!

Thanks gents for the replies, much appreciated.
Unfortunately i have already had that conversation with Wyn, think It's Esprit time for him now!!
If you can hang on for a few months until Wyn has broken his Esprit the third time, then you'll be in with a shout...Unfortunately i have already had that conversation with Wyn, think It's Esprit time for him now!!
__________The Esprit is a fantastic handling car, more so than any TVR Wedge... but also lacks excitement, I found.
Steering is like a go-kart (un-assisted and light), heater/ demister works like no TVR's ever did.
Build quality... not much to choose between them; the Esprit might have better shutlines but some of the panels are also wafer-thin. In some ways more stowage space, but that not always as useable as on the TVR.
Driver's visibility is usually criticised but I drive a van so am used to peering around pillars and through odd-shaped windows.
I'd have another but there are other things I'd buy first.
I'd go so far as to say that most people who defect from a TVR Wedge to an Esprit will be back

Better hope for some lotto winners to be looking then...
I'm with you on this one. There's what we all think that these cars are worth and ther's what they sell for. Does the extra 300cc and exclusivity double the price? http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a...Gassing Station | Wedges | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
