Hi Peeps...Just wanted to ask your opinion..Im thinking that this year of maybe giving the money raised by the calendars and your kind donations to a warwickshire based children's charity called The Jennifer Trust For Spinal Muscular Atrophy,

Hopefully we can raise a bit more on the day, The plan was to invite some of the children along to see the cars and maybe take them for a short drive but unfortunately there is a lot of red tape as far as insurance goes.

Let me know what you think please...Cheers...Ziga

I think it's a top idea, assuming there's sufficient time with all that's arranged. Happy to offer a lift if the insurers are okay with that. Cheers.

Excellent choice Mark. Still looks like I will be unable to attend this years BBWF. If you want to forward me your PayPal details I would like to make a contribution to this very worthwhile cause.

A very worthy cause Mark. I have a daughter with Cerebral Palsy, so I know donations to charities like this help immensely.

Thanks for volunteering Keith, Im going to do a bit more research as regards to taking them out in the cars..The Hotel will provide refreshments for them as they also do work for the same Trust.

Rob you are very kind and it would be good to see you this year if you are able to make it, If you want to make a donation then you can paypal to my email address and i will add it to the calendar money..Thank you.

Wayne...Sorry to hear about your daughter it must be very tough for you, All charities are deserving and each year i try to donate the money to various charities in hope that it makes a difference to someones life..Even when we have nothing we are still more fortunate than some...

Everyone on this forum gives generously and I'm glad to be part of it...Cheers...Ziga

Unfortunately I Think your right about insurance zig , if taking kids out for a short spin. In these days of litigation you have to make sure all the I's are dotted and all t's crossed. Also as it's kids the drivers may have to be CRB checked.

Great idea Zig for the charity. I also think taking the kids out for spin in the cars is a great idea but has a lot of problems attached. The drivers would have to be cleared to prove there are no more jimmy saville's around then there's the insurance implications would prove to be a nightmare. How about letting them just sit in the cars and rev the engines in the company of who ever brings them and is looking after them on the day? dont think you need crb or special insurance for that, might need a disclaimer form though.

Thanks for that Jon...Well if there are any Jimmy's amongst us then they better leave quietly by the back door never to show their face again..Cos if i find out then they won't be leaving quietly and certainly not by the back door...I will call the trust to see what the score is...Cheers...Ziga
