No way, i was never in a rush for mine. Put my deposit down fairly late (July) so am grateful that i have car that was confirmed last week. Still in for April build with May delivery. The recall doesn't bother me one bit

However, I do think that:
A) People should have the OPTION of having their deposit back if they have not yet received a car
B) Porsche should make some sort of gesture (extended warranty) that demonstrates that they have faith in the GT3!

No way my yellow peril is sat in QC as we speak I am so excited it's untrue, I couldn't care less about the fire issue it's one of those things. I have 100% confidence in Porsche sorting things out, and when I finally get my car I know it's going to be awesome

They already give 3 years, its not a Kia although we do actually pay for the third year so they could waiver that

Is that 'give' as in it is supplied by a third party insurance company and you pay for it in addition to the new price of car which includes two years manufacturer's warranty?

No, its just the UK spec (well i'm assuming i'm paying Porsche for the warranty and not a third party)

My car build was due to be completed yesterday. I'm still having it whenever it arrives.

I only placed my deposit in December so my suffering isn't quite so prolonged as some

If the car doesn't go wrong it costs them nothing - quite different than £1k cash upfront!
