I'm not sure if I can run this on PH but I'm running a poll and a competition on Facebook

What circuit provides the best racing and spectating in the UK?
We'll select a random winner and give them a pair of tickets to the one of our 2014 rounds (hopefully at your chosen circuit) There's an additional chance to win for each friend you refer to the poll!

i voted Brands, and it should win by an absolute mile. Get in the stand on entry to paddock hill and you get a great view of the best corner in the country and also see most of the rest of the circuit.

I think you're right - Brands Indy ( perhaps i should've specified that) has to be best viewing in the UK. Great racing it as well.

I actually voted Donington, as it's my favourite track to race at but Brands is a close second.

It's very close at the moment

Perhaps not the best circuit for racing. But Rockingham at the top on the main grandstand you can see the entire circuit!

I do like the idea of being able to see the whole track, but once you've been to Daytona, Rockingham just doesn't cut it. Also at brands you are very close to one corner whilst seeing the majority of the track, At Rockingham you are a long way away from the action.

Knockhill - that's an interesting choice! Had my first ever race there. In the pouring rain ( I know - i was told it never rained there)

I voted Donington as my favourite to race and view.
Race only would be Oulton

I think one's fondness for a circuit is probably a function of the great racing you've seen there and the quality of your memories. I'd have Goodwood - Oulton Park - Donington Park - Brands Hatch. I've only been to Brands half a dozen times but probably been to Oulton 150 times.

Anyway, voted Goodwood as it has produced more thrilling battles as a percentage of the races I've seen there than anywhere else. Not to mention the fact that there's unobstructed spectating the entire perimeter. Finally, Fordwater is up there with Eau Rouge, Lesmo 1 and Brock's Skyline for greatest corners I've ever spectated at. High praise indeed.

Got to be Brands Indy to watch, and personally Cadwell to drive - even if it's in the back of beyond!

I passed my ards there. It snowed. I spun. Thankfully, Sandra is lovely so let me off and gave me a license anyway...

I might have misunderstood the question, i thought that the OP was talking as a spectator, rather than participant. The ball ache of Panel damage adise, i'd still be keen on the mentalness of knockhill...

You can see most of the circuit at Lydden, but I've never seen an actual race there.

Lydden is a bit bleak compared to Brands though.

One circuit that's best for both drivers & spectators? Brands Indy, without question smile

Good training for your Trophee Andros entry then smile

The question is a general one - whats the best circuit in the country racing & spectating. Not everyone races on here or FB so wanted to get a good cross section smile
