Here are the first pictures of the Typhoon style front grill for the Tuscan.
These are from the pre mould unit, this is now with the mould makers and should be back very soon.
Just wondered what everyone thinks.
First ones will be ready before xmas.

Looks great Big Phil! Once you've slotted it in and the bonnet is hanging over it will be spot on! Keep us posted!

Cheers

Phil, the nose conversion is looking good. However, I happen to have put my pedantic pants on today - before you do any heavy, and expensive, marketing, get the Typhon spelling sorted - we don't want to lose any credibility do we?

Maybe he's calling his new nose the 'Typhoon' to prevent any copyright enfringement?

first grill out of the mould today. Click on the link in the first post to see the latest pics.
This is showing the grill in it's gell coat finish no painting at all.The finish is superb quality, ready to just prime, paint and fit the only trimming required will be to the outer edges as we have left these about 3mm proud to allow for differences in each individual car. The grill will include bonded in mesh as well.
We have also designed this to accept the S splitter for those that want to retain this feature. We will be fitting the first grill tommorow and will post pics hopefully tommorow evening of it mounted on the car but unpainted so it will be easy to see the new lines it creates.
Comments gratefully received.

OK here we have the first pics of the grill fitted to the car, (click link on first post), obviously it is not meshed or painted as yet.
The mould makers have done a fantastic job with only very minimal trimming to fit, took approx one hour from start to finish which includes removing the existing panel,
All comments welcome.

Cool. Just catching up on this development. Do you intend sticking the reg plate on the bonnet or on the new grill?

We have made various options for the number plate.
1) stick on plate for bonnet.
2) mounting bracket on bottom of grill with plate angled backwards toward mesh as on Tamora.
3) mounted onto the mesh itself.

All of the above based on using smaller plate with bike size lettering.
It is also possible to mount a full size plate from top edge of the grill for those concerned about legality but having used bike size plates for nearly six years it has never been a problem as long as they are clear and spaced correctly.

Look forward to seeing the finished result, sprayed and polished. Any other bodywork modifications/enhancements in the pipeline?

Yep we have just about finished the first of the Sagaris style rear spoilers for the Tuscan.
We just did the mock up this morning and looks really good, gives the benifit of the spoier but doesn't lose the classic swooping lines of the boot lid.

Thanks. I think it is great that someone is getting on with designing and manufacturing aftermarket styling products for these fine cars - certainly a gap in the market for the right accessories.
