Front Splitter Q

The brilliance of my sketch aside, have I got the location and direction (ie pointing backwards slightly) of the splitter mod right?

I've got a spare M3 lip spoiler lying around that would fit the [sketched] bill nicely.

That's unusual for a Forum


My opinion (for what it's worth), it is a very crude splitter, don't think McLaren will be copying, and either way round it will break up the air flow under the car and maybe have some effect?
Can't say I've noticed a huge difference on my S, but when I had the Chimaera it definitely reduced bonnet lift and I think it felt more stable at "illegal speeds" at Bruntingthorpe


Only way to really tell would be back to back tests on a test track.
