Wires are a mess!

Hi guys, before I put the S in for an mot , I decided to tidy up wires that are dangling down around the ecu and fuse box that are hanging down ..
Guys what have you cobbled together to allow easy access to this area in the passenger footwell glovebox ..area
Any pictures please ..

Also the dash warning lights In the S2,sweep. Got to sought these out as well ..can't Remember if all those lights worked at all ..

Afternoon,

Having seen the mees of cables in Samy trying to find the indicator relay I'm minded to move it all to the boot where the aerial currently is (soon to be deleted).

Hi Kieren,
On my S1, the following warning lights are not connected:
red - low fuel
blue - front foglights
amber - low oil pressure.

The lower red brake warning light may or may not be connected,
I presume it warns of low brake fluid level, but I've never tested it.

The rest of the lights all function.

As for the mare's nest of wiring, it seems Blackpool were unbeaten Olympic Cats' Cradle Champions for quite a while.
. A few cable ties help prevent the fuse /relay panel dangling onto the passenger's knees/ ankles.

ETA: Phillpot has by far the neatest solution, a lovely repositioned fusebox under the bonnet mounted on top of the passenger footwell in a waterproof case.
Hopefully he'll be along soon with spme gratuitous photos.

I was going to try and do something about mine but gave up and just covered them up again, so no help at all really.
