The thing I peel back to give me fun has gone mouldy

Must be all this rain.

The hood on the outside has got green patches everywhere, the inside has white blobs of mould.

What's the best way to fix this before David Attenborough and a film crew turn up doing some sort of "Life in the MX5" documentary ?

bucket of water with a good splosh of dettol did the trick for me. It came off dead easy and has never come back.

It's either that or Mr Muscle Fungal Foot cleanser I guess.

This was debated on ANother forum recently.
Sum total was to use products from these guys:- http://www.renovointernational.com/
For mould etc. inside there's a domestic mould and mildew remover. I've used it in the bathroom on vinyl wallpaper and it seems pretty effective.

To prevent this sort of thing I leave a roof cover on mine overnight as well as a couple of dehumidifiers on the interior. Never had any issues since.

it was a serious answer. I left mine parked up for a a few weeks and the interior looked like it had been fur lined, even the sun visors had fur growing on them. Dettol and water, fixed! For the areas where you don't want to use liquids use Flash kitchen wipes.

A long spell of dry weather would be best though, some hope ....

I'd just use soapy water inside the car. Dettol will work but it'll also smell of Dettol.
