Aston quality painters
Discussion
Evening everyone,
I have a near mint DB7 Vantage that requires some very minor paint to bring it up to standard. Things like upper sill faces in the door shuts, a front wing lip and a stone chip on the bonnet.
I'm based in Rutland, so am ideally looking for someone in my near locality who I can absolutely trust to deliver a factory (or better) quality repair. If any of you have used someone in my area that you can recommend, I'd be most appreciative, so do please feel free to pm me. Like many of you, I'm a touch OCD when it comes to my car, so it needs to be just so...
I have approached Spray Tec in Wellingborough as they have a very good reputation with older Astons, but I'm led to belive they only tackle bigger jobs on more valuable Astons and their current non response to my enquiry would suggest that view is correct.
Any suggestions based on your personal experience would be appreciated.

Take it home, to Aston Martin at Newport Pagnell. They will give you a perfect job. If your car is as you say the work that NP do will be documented and guaranteed plus it will not prove to be detrimental to its future value.
It is true that its home became a paint dealership, but it wasn't NP. :-)The first 7s were painted by Rolls Royce by the way.
Give Chiltern Aston a call. They look after my 7 as I understand it, take on paint jobs from W.S when they are over stretched. Mine will be going in, in the spring for a little bit of work here and there and would have no hesitation recommending them. Give me a p.m if you want to chat.
