Has anyone changed the dipped beam xenon themselves? Reading up online it looks like a wheel & liner off jobby rolleyes

Also online sites are recommending d2s bulbs but my manual says d1s. Can anyone shed any light? (280 model on an 08 plate).

My SLK55 was a nightmare, wheel off, liner off, got the bulb out but then the balast/ignitor wouldnt go back on so had to remove the bumper and headlight. I could have cried!

Can't remember what bulb, D2S springs to mind though!
