Oddball van driver...

Encountered this fellow twice in the last 24 hours, strangely. He seems to want people behind to think he's police, hence the blue strip stuck along the top of his roof lights, and he turns them on whenever anything happens that he doesn't like, or he wants someone to move out of the way.

Very strange behaviour... Who on earth would pay any attention to yellow flashing lights on a van?



Cool story etc., just find the guy a bit odd!

I had a similar incident with an Astra vam driver on the M1 a few years ago and I was on my bike. He simply would not move over, so I just went up the inside. He actually started gesticulating, obviously indicating the prescence of his orange strobe lamp, and then switched them on. I just gave him the coffee beans and fked off. What a fking wker.

ive even seen some "security" vans like Vito/Vivaro size with the battenbergs slapped on the sides for the full monty effect......surely sooner or later the real feds pull these jokers and remove the police-eqsue stickers......youd hope so.

like people have said - weird. i recall some dude that fits the 40s living at home with his mum pigeon hole on traffic cops or motorway cops or similar - feds pulled him and he maintained he was a medic on a call! this that was an astravan.
