GT3 Loan Cars - who has what or nothing ?

I think it is important to note that although it is built and was delivered to the dealer a few weeks ago, I've not yet collected my car (was meant to be 1st March), nor have I paid for it yet.
I'd expect those who have had to return cars (plus those which have already been paid for p) to get "better" treatment.
I'm happy with what my OPC has done - it seems Porsche GB are washing their hands of the whole issue and leaving it to OPCs to pick up the pieces...

But from a personal goodwill perspective it's not great and diminishes my opinion of Porsche

Although customers' contracts are with their OPCs, I expect the OPCs will be supported by Porsche GB since the current situation is due to a manufacturing issue. Porsche AG will probably reimburse Porsche GB in turn since the recommendation to not drive the GT3 has come down from them.
Porsche is sitting on a PR nightmare right now and the last thing it needs is for people to feel their custom is not valued. The cost of rectifying the situation with the GT3 will inevitably cut into its profits for Porsche but the real issue here is the potential loss of confidence in Porsche as a brand and ultimately the loss of sales/profit Porsche may suffer with its volume models like the new to market Macan. This is the last thing Porsche needs. Geneva is only next week and there's still no mention of the RS at the moment.
Substituting a GT3 is impossible but Porsche GB/OPCs need to make an effort. Since customers may find they have to live with the loan car longer than they expected/hoped, it's important the car is something people find acceptable. Porsche GB/OPCs need to put the shoe on the other foot and treat customers the way they'd like to be treated. If they do that, they'll have fewer unhappy customers and firm up brand value.

Yep.. Totally agree... Honestly.. What a nightmare for Porsche and most importantly its customers
They can't really win can they? If they don't show it, it will seen as an admission that there is a big problem. All the journos will be asking is - where's the RS guys?They are on trial right now and they know it, they need to be open and clear not close ranks.
