The time is getting ever closer to picking up my V8VR...pics will follow when she arrives. Yes, I think of her as a she!

I have been thinking of a name for her, something quintessentially British, a lioness, a powerful lady...I'm stuck but still thinking. I might wait until she's home and one might come to me.

Do you guys and gals name your Aston and if so what do you call her/him?

Or is it just me???!!!

Judi (As in Judi Dench - 007 'M') or the Lion connection could be 'Elsa' from the 'Born Free' fame.

Just you Frankie,it's a bleedin' car.
I have enough trouble remembering the names of all the Russian birds I date.
As for Tony, fanny magnet, as if .....he'd be lucky to pull an OAP.

It was the cost of the building and contents insurance that pushed me over the edge eek

Bought from a bloke who hangs out in lay-bys I met on the internet... biggrin

To the OP, if you want to name your car I say go for it. I think the suggestion of Judi is a good 'un.

No its not just you.

Admittedly most of those I am aware of that have been named have undergone a project at a certain company that I dare not even mention, as have both of ours, but plenty of people have named all sorts of vehicles for plenty of other reasons.

Our previous V8S was Purdey - the powerful British lady you describe (but with a kick-a*s attitude wink). Her replacement is Pearl - because the name follows on nicely from Purdey and because she is (Stratus) white smile

Keep thinking about her (as doubtless you will) and her name will come to you
