Fiat Stilo Abarth

Does anyone have any experience of these?
They seem to be quite over looked - 2.2ltr 170bhp, 0-60 in 8.5 secs.
Not great performance but comparable to a Focus ST170 or even a 306 gti-6.

Thoughts??

I always had a hankering for one but they only came with a robotised manual gearbox (which I quite like generally) and the tales of software / actuator woe are seemingly neverending. Add in the fact that seemingly very few people outside Italy have a clue how they work and things look a bit bleak.

Very slow especially for a 2.4 lump. Good as the speed starts to creep but nothing to write home about. they suffer usual Italian electrics of the day and niggling suspension probs but good other than that. My mate works for Fiat as a mechanic and isn't too hot on them admittedly.
