I bought 2 x lamb henrys earlier. How would you cook them? We are having them for tea.

It's just the same as lamb shanks but from the shoulder. Cook the same as shanks.

Slow cook until the meat falls off the bone. A good 6-8 hours.

Oven? Roasting pan covered in foil? What sort of temp? 160.

Topic has been done a few times. Slow and moist is the way to go.

That was the reason for going - we are just around the corner from the Butchers Arms in Hepworth. Bacon and Egg buttie and then a trip to the meat counter biggrin

It tells you on the label... "Pot roast with red wine, onions and mint sauce for 2-3 hours, Gas 3 or 160c" biggrin
