Go on then, it's Friday - have a "what car?"
Discussion
MrsC is thinking of changing her car but has not a clue what she wants.
Basic conditions:
- Must be "distinctive"
- Must be able to account for itself in the TLGP
- Must not be a BMW, Merc or Audi
Budget is £5k-ish. So far, I have suggested:
- Focus ST in orange (distinctive enough?). They just about creep into budget although with high mileage
- Boxster, but I don't think we'll get an S for that money?
- and yes, an MX-5 but she thinks they are too small
She mentioned a Monaro (I've had one before) but they're not generally down to that money.
And I guess a Chimaera at that price point would present severe fiscal soreness to one or other bodily orifice?
Next stop Italy I think?

Only if you drive like an idiot - yes the earlier ones (pre '02) are more frisky than the later ones (and arguably better and more involving if you are a competent driver), but if you floor it on a wet roundabout in a rwd 240bhp car with no traction control, then the results are fairly predictable as it would be in any comparative car 
How about the C30 T5 is she wants to go down the hatchback route?
