E92 M3 manual, is clutch wear measurable?

I'm thinking of buying one but given how many "enthusiastic" drivers they attract I'm wondering if there is any easy way to ascertain the life remaining for the clutch?

It's a conventional clutch, short of removing the gearbox and measuring the clutch plate, No.

I haven't heard any reports of these going early so just do the normal checks and you should be fine. Check the brake disks and throttle actuators have been changed these are more likely to need replacing and are also quite expensive.
