Grrrrr Panasonic failure....again
Discussion
So just to throw this out there.....
Is is reasonable for a 50" Panasonic plasma TV to fail with the same power supply fault 3 times in 2 1/2 years. First 2 fixed under warranty last failure they refuse to repair.... quote 'you are on your own and will not continue to support'
So am I being unreasonable telling them that the TV is not fit for purpose and they should replace, if not small claims court to sort out on my behalf.
I think this is a fair stance... any views????

I still have a 42" plasma panasonic as well, screen went on that at 3 years old.
Panasonic changed the screen FOC due to very early failure but no complaints,if they had not changed the screen FOC........ repair centre said TV was beyond economical repair. So while ended up OK was not good for a £1200 tv only lasting 3 years.
Nothing I could do re power supply issue, assume I just got a bad one this time!!!

Hi,
Nothing unusual, plugged in standard extension lead. Following first failure never used the USB socket for charging 3d glasses etc as was worried about overloading anything.
Only presume have a dodgy / Friday afternoon TV.
Either way will let the small claims court decide as 3 repeating failures in 2 1/2 years is not as expected with a product of this type, Panasonic washing hands of it is bad bad bad service.
If you search on google 'Panasonic 7 blinks of death' appears to be a common problem world wide. hey ho.
Will not be replacing with another Panasonic product following this experience.

Hi,
Purchased from Bestbuy so no way back via them now but........... was purchased on a credit card so have applied for a refund as not fit for purpose.
Panasonic have just stopped replying to me, silly as was previously a great fan of the equipment and considered it all good quality.
So first attempt for money back is credit card, next is Panasonic to small claims court. All I wanted was a TV that worked!!!
