When you went to the classified you got a nice chunky alphabet that you could click on to find the make of car you wanted to look at. Now it's gone all small and fiddly again with a drop down box that you have to scroll down, and down, and and to the 'W's !

I wouldn't know as I've stopped using it it's so bad now. Why was the classifieds changed in the first place?

No idea but I find it much easier for filtering.
What is your issue with it? Or do you just like moaning?

You're wasting your time mate, I reported the 'go to last read post' button as being too small so it doesn't work and it's still the same. Too much time is spent 'improving' but not really fixing the existing issues.

You must be the only person to like the new classifieds.

If the filtering worked on iPads maybe I would like it too. And no I don't like moaning but I'm sure you will fit in well on PH's wink

That can't be an I-pad, unless it's different on an iPad Air?

The filtering works on my iPad mini. I can filter only manual E30s after initially searching all E30s.

Or did you mean something else?

There does seem to be a mode that on narrow screens replaces the A..Z buttons with a drop down. (Comment from the HTML <!-- Small screens will see a dropdown instead... -->).

Just tried it on my old iPhone and it goes directly to this mode. However it has the look of something that should have been taken out - the blue show all button isn't changed and the list is blank.

I can't do screenshots on the iPhone, so this is IE narrowed so far it triggers the behaviour (on the iPhone the 'select a letter' is next to Show All, rather than below it):

I think there are two approaches you could take going forward, a proper code review to formalise all the client side customisation behaviours so you don't get caught out in future. Or, my preferred choice, checking with HR regarding how much you are allowed to shout at the test team.
