Hi Terry,

This might help:



If you remove bolt 14, adaptor 13 (that's what replaces the Sierra McPherson strut) should come out. Then you should be able to get to a nut(?) on the end of the ball joint 13.

I haven't done this - so some guesswork in the above!

Hi Terry, you will find nut (15) under the cone of the ball joint. Just losen this then split as normal.
I see you are local, I am in Kesgrave. Have a joint splitter if you need one. Neil

Thanks for the info, that's tomorrows job.. Been burning out trailing arm bushes today and pressing out the front wishbone bushes too. I've bot a couple of ball joint splitters, the wind in type and the good old fashioned 'need a big hammer' one too, so hopefully I'll be ok but thanks for the offer..

Terry small world, I am on Grange Farm as well. Near the millennium sports ground. Just finished my S3c hope to take it for MOT in a week or so. Great work you are doing, what you have done in a couple of weeks took me as many months.
