Good morning gentlemen,

I wonder if someone might help me before I make the trek to a dealer.

I jet washed my V8V, which clearly is something of a bad idea. When I got home I realise a 4" piece of chrome was missing from the driver's door. I did go back to look for it but no luck was to be had.

Has anyone else experienced this?
Does anyone know whether this small piece of chrome can be replaced alone - or does it require purchasing the entire chrome piece around the door? And does anyone know the price of that?

Many thanks for any input.

I did find that piece loose on my car some years ago and promptly super-glued it back in place.
Before the dealer, I'd try sending an email to AstonMartinBits.

Thanks. I wonder if superglue was used during the original construction? biggrin

Perhaps it should have been...

I am spending too much time with my car... guessed it was this part before opening the thread! You could also try my friend ebay... someone was breaking a car for parts and this is just the sort of thing you could source - the picture makes it dead easy as well.
