Which cars need a modern version ?

Ok, so we have had the Fiat 500, Mini and Beetle, our American cousins get the rather pleasant Mustang, so, why do we only get rehashed Superminis ?

So what needs a remake ?

Nothing, just like with films the remakes are always st compared to the originals.

Didn't Ford try this with the Probe? But whereas more recent remakes of cars (Beetle, Mini, Fiat etc) have all used the retro look as a main character of the car, the Probe just didn't seem to have any character..?

Isnt the new twingo/twin run/whatever it is, very much a hark back to the 5? And when they release the Sport, I bet it'll be full of 5 GT features.

That's probably the idea, I believe the latest version is bigger & it's replacement will surly grow to make room for a new smaller model.
