Scott's 98 Spec DC2

Been browsing the forums and site for a long time and thought I would finally post a bit about me and my cars!
I had the usual array of Escorts and Focuses when I passed my test, first thing I owned of any note was a 2003 T-sport Celica which looked like this to begin with
and ended up looking like this...
Biggest mistake was selling the Celica, fancied a turbo so bought one of these,
Which in all fairness was a really nice refined car, just didn't have the responsiveness and overall sportiness I enjoyed the Celica for so after 4 months of ownership was up for sale and replaced with one of these.
Awesome car, made me want more so decided to get a DC2, but after trawling the web for a month or two couldn't find any nice examples.
Bit the bullet and decided to get in touch with Miguel at Newera Imports, where he searched for a 98 Spec DC2 or the Celica equivalent (TRD Sports M). After a few months of searching it became apparent that most of the Celica's that came up were not up to standard, and ended up with this...
A 1998 DC2 with 75000 KM's, full history (a rarity for japan) albeit in japanese so I can't make hide nor hair out of it! After a few months of waiting for the boat to arrive and the car to get registered and MOT'd etc I finally picked it up last month. Got it undersealed the very next day and also stripped out the rear to check for any rust on the inner rear arches. Also sealed up a small gap on the front of the rear arches the DC2 is infamous for.
It was stupidly clean, I feel bad driving it around in this sort of weather but I do have peace of mind now its fully undersealed, Will be looking for a daily shed though to save on clocking up the miles on this.
I also got the engine torque mounts replaced as there was a bit of engine movement when changing gears, also flushed the coolant through and filled with anti freeze.
Changed the oil and filter for peace of mind last week, there is a sticker on the inner door that apparently says the cambelt was changed at 64,000 KM but no idea when it was carried out so will get it done this month.
Other then that, the car is a right hoot to drive, the amount of grip is astounding and I cant help but smile every time the car tackles a corner in which there's no fuss, no wheelspin on adding power, no understeer, just brilliant! The noise it makes at 9000RPM is spine tingling as well.
No future plans for it really, other then perhaps a Mugen exhaust if one pops up, also need some new badges and side stickers.
Honda spent £000's R&D'ing it and got it right, I fear that any thing I do will have a negative effect to it!
I'm located in Norfolk, so any future meets with PHEA and I'm not working, I'll be there.

You have a really similar car history to me, I started with a dark blue Celica 140 and moved to a black EP3, then went onto a white JDM import 
DC2 looks incredible, it's amazing how clean a lot of imports are. Keep on eye on rust though; my S15 was immaculate when it arrived but I've already had to rust treat the rear arches after less than a year on UK roads

Thanks all for kind words! I've got myself a DSLR so when I learn how to use the thing will be taking plenty more professional (to some extent) photos!
Gutted today, driving in the slow lane on a dual carriageway and some old dear in a megane decides to overtake and then return into my lane and slow right down, in the meantime throwing up a stone hitting the window only a chip but can't believe it! Phoned the insurance company who are coming out to look at it Thursday.
Will teach me for driving sensibly!
