Belfast BMW

Watching BBC news 24 there is a report of talks in Northern Ireland, and in the background there was a pink BMW.

Only got a glimpse so not sure what series but it didn't look particularly old. Is this a standard BMW colour? Or only in Northern Ireland? Or has the owner gone completely mad? Or could it be something to do with the way the TV works that's distorted the colour?t

There is a pink BINI in Bolton; the crackpot female who owned that now drives a pink BMW (X1 I think) with the same private registration mark as the pink bloated imposter had while in her ownership... (Both the same shade of pink as well, I would say.)

Don't shoot me, but there's a pink TT floating about north lanarkshire, it was on Douglas Park's BMW forecourt in Hamilton until recently.

I don't think it's a total disaster...

It's slightly darker and less "candy" than the Audi factory pink TTs are normally in. It's got a deep gloss to it. I wouldn't immediately commit harry karry if the better half rocked up with that and wanted to pop it on the driveway.

Some MLM cosmetic company (I guess Mary Kay or something like that) paints their prize cars pink and giving them to winners

I spotted it as well. The strangest thing being it was on an E39 5 Series rather than a convertible or coupe. Looked very odd.
Not a BMW colour AFAIK.
It looked like this one - a sort of metallic nail varnish pink.
