It looks okay.
There's some bad distortion in your images though. I know you've had to reduce them for the web, but have you tried raising the DPI to 300 re-doing everything and then saving as 92DPI for the web? This would give you a very crisp and clear look. Also try slicing the images up into squares and the raising the file sizes to get a better image.
I'd agree about your navigation and I would also look at increasing the text size.
I'd also agree that it is a bit dark for it's purpose - although the images have a contemporary look which is going in the right direction - I think a light grey would suit it more...

Looks fine to me, no problem with either the images or the fonts under Firefox on Linux.
Invaluable site for all web site authors: http://validator.w3.org/ checks the validity of your HTML markup, a first essential for interoperability. It is quite shocking how many sites fail.

It's a Flash site, yes?
One thing that always iritates me about Flash is that you build your site for, say, 800x600 pixels.
I then come along and look at it with my screen set to 1280x960 and with my browser maximised, and I see a little 800x600 postage stamp in the corner of my screen.
It's something that irritates me (personally) immensely but it probbaly not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things.
Apart from that it looks fine.

Perhaps change the background colour to a lighter shade - i'm thinking a grey or something that goes with the light blue page background.
Also "Speculative Large Scale Residential Developments" in the dropdown menu is a bit long

On contact page: typo "please don't hessitate"
Oh and stick in a Multimap link on the contact page, always a nice touch for people who want to come and visit.

There's not a problem with the images as such they show fine, but if you look around the text it becomes very grainy which is down to the text and image being compressed for the web on Photoshop maybe?
I know it's only a mock-up site but that small change makes the world of difference.
