Microwave in layers of kitchen roll. The paper absorbs the fat and you get good crispy rashers. I've done it only with streaky, not back bacon.

This.

Not as good as grilling, but it will do the job when there's no alternative.

With the amount of water it comes with these days I start out frying, but generally end up boiling it.
I got some last week so bad that by the end I was left with what looked like fried egg white in the pan, two for one, bonus!

Yes I know I should buy better quality non-supermarket bacon for better results.

Yeah this works a treat!

I lived in the US for six months and this is how the people I met cooked their bacon, it actually works really well! (Again, streaky, not back).

It's perhaps a shade more from the butcher shop but after you take out the water it's cheaper wink

I always buy plenty and keep it in the freezer to save buying icky supermarket rubbish.

This maws Marco Pierre White's favourite way of doing it and it works surprisingly well.

Me too.

Why would you use the worst means of cooking something when there is better available?

My flatmate used to swear by microwave bacon in the first year, I never thought it was quite as good as full on fry up though. Grill is quite good though, gets it crispier I find.

Saw something about using an upside down bowl and placing the bacon on or around that helping.

It works in a pinch though for a quick sandwich.

I cook mine in the regular oven.

Make a baking tray out of doubled up tin foil and no washing up either.

Way better than it sounds. Evenly cooks it and makes it nice and dry/crispy. I put it over the edge of a bowl so the fat runs off then use the fat to fry an egg in.
