Cats and Dogs together pics?
Discussion
Our Tabby (Jazzy) and Pug (Humphrey) got on well, Jazzy would come in and nuzzle up against Humphrey and they would happily sit or lie together, there is a picture somewhere of them on the bed together however I can't find it.
These two however:

I came in from being out and a Daisy (dog) was physically shaking and had a look of utter fear in her eyes, Pepper (cat) ruled the roost, hated Daisy and would do many things to try and intimidate her; Pepper was PTS in January so things are a bit calmer now.

I'm kind of jealous, they look ace together. We've never yet managed to have two cats that live together and get on so a dog and a cat that snuggle up like that would be awesome!
Nice pics
We have two dogs and two cats! but the other dog doesn't bother with either cat, and the other cat doesn't bother with either dog! it's just these two that play and get on so well, cat is 18 months old, dog is 12 months, so maybe that's why they get on as brought up from kitten and pup together!Nice pics

These are very sweet, and give me hope that one day my Vizsla and Cat will get along.
when we first got the puppy our older cat was not amused at all, he stayed out as much as possible and only came in for food and straight back out again, but the mardy sod soon realised the dog was here to stay so gave in and came back to his home comforts lol Back when I was six or seven my dog acquired a kitten, it was a feral off the farm we lived near. She bought it home one day that'd she'd been over the fence. The kitten was so young we had to feed it milk & wean it, Jackie mothered it brilliantly though, hence this pic of it actually suckling even though Jackie was dry.

Our 14 year old cat and year and half old boston terrier. They have only known each other two month.
How did you manage to integrate them. We have 2 Jack Russells and (now) 5 cats. The cats are stuck upstairs and the dogs downstairs with a child gate keeping the dogs in their place. If one of the cats comes over the gate and the dogs see it there is hell to pay and they'll chase it. If I let the dogs upstairs then they ignore the cats to the point that one of them wont even look at the cats, he's found out they have claws, and makes a point of avoiding them. Same thing if they meet outside, not much problem with the dogs, one will play with the cats and the other ignores them, but step over the door step and WW3 kicks off. I realise it's a territory thing and if the cats stood their ground they'd be fine but with 10-14kg of gnashing teeth coming towards you I don't blame them for legging it but we'd love them to all get on all over the house.

It just worked out, lucky I guess. We have had the cat for 14 years and she is really very nervous. Some of our close family have not really seen her as she runs whenever someone comes in the house, so we were worried when we adopted the boston two month ago. She is such a layed back girl! She wasn't interested in the cat really, apart from wanting to play. At first the cat wouldn't come near and would hiss and swipe, but the dog just shrugged it off. Now after two month she will actually come in from outside and rub against the dog and touch noses. We were surprised at how they have made friends, but I'm sure it has to do with the breed. We did read up on the boston terrier, and they are well known for being good with any non canine pets.I realise it's a territory thing and if the cats stood their ground they'd be fine but with 10-14kg of gnashing teeth coming towards you I don't blame them for legging it but we'd love them to all get on all over the house.
